Personal Information Protection Policy
K.R.S. Corporation (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) recognizes that it has a social responsibility to appropriately and continuously protect personal information obtained through legitimate means in all aspects of the Company’s business activities. The Company has established the following policy regarding the handling of personal information and shall ensure thorough compliance by its executives and relevant employees.
1. Establishment of a Personal Information Protection System
The Company has established a personal information protection management system in accordance with the Japanese Industrial Standard: “Personal Information Protection Management Systems - Requirements (JIS Q 15001)”. Executives and employees shall recognize the importance of personal information protection, and the entire company will work together to promote its protection.
2. Compliance with Laws and Regulations
The Company will comply with the “Act on the Protection of Personal Information” and other relevant laws and regulations.
3. Appropriate Acquisition of Personal Information
The Company shall obtain personal information through appropriate and fair means.
4. Purpose of the Use of Personal Information
The Company shall specify the purpose of acquiring and using personal information and do so only within the scope necessary to achieve that purpose and to the extent required for business operations. In addition, necessary measures shall be taken for this purpose
5. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
The Company shall not provide personal information to third parties without the individual’s prior consent, except in cases specified by law or when disclosing it to business contractors within the necessary scope for business purposes.
6. Management of Personal Information
The Company shall take preventive and corrective measures to ensure that the loss, destruction, alteration, or leakage of personal information does not occur and strive to ensure the security and accuracy of personal information.
7. Respect for the Rights of the Individual
The Company shall respond to requests from individuals for the disclosure, correction, deletion, or suspension of use of their personal information in accordance with laws and regulations. In addition, the Company shall respond appropriately and promptly to complaints and inquiries regarding the handling of personal information.
8. Continuous Improvement of the Personal Information Protection Management System
The Company shall continuously review the personal information protection management system and strive for its ongoing improvement.
