Information on the Handling of Personal Information
1. Our Approach
K.R.S. Corporation (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) shall protect personal information by implementing appropriate measures to prevent leakage, loss, or damage of personal information, in accordance with the Japanese Industrial Standard “Personal Information Protection Management Systems - Requirements (JIS Q 15001)”, and under thorough information management training. The acquisition of personal information shall be carried out using appropriate methods, within the scope necessary for the Company's business operations, and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
In addition, the Company shall comply with laws and regulations related to the protection of personal information, guidelines established by the government, and other relevant standards, and will make efforts to protect personal information.
2. Purpose of the Use of Personal Information
When using the personal information of customers, the Company will clearly state the purpose of use. In addition, the use of personal information shall be limited to the scope of the specified purpose, and only authorized individuals, according to specific tasks, shall handle the information to the extent necessary for the performance of their duties. The personal information handled by the Company and its purpose of use are as follows:
(1) Contact information of business partners

This refers to the personal information of the representatives or contacts of the Company's partners, including customers, partner companies, and affiliated companies.

- Reporting, communication, business management, and operations management required for proposing, planning, designing, preparing, and performing goods transportation, delivery, storage, loading and unloading, packaging, distribution processing, and other logistics services (hereinafter referred to as “Logistics Services”)
- Conducting surveys such as questionnaires to improve and enhance logistics services and analyzing the results of these surveys
- Entering into contracts for the operation of logistics services and other businesses, as well as reporting and communication that are related to those contracts

(2) EC product delivery destination information

This refers to the delivery destination information of e-commerce products used in the delivery services entrusted to the Company by customers.

- Reporting and communication required for the delivery of e-commerce products and the fulfillment of related services.

(3) Information service user data

This covers the personal information of users who have registered for information services operated by the Company.

- Provision of information services
- Investigation of the usage and environment of information services
- Reporting on information services to partner companies and internal stakeholders

(4) Inquiry information

This refers to inquiry information received via the web, email, phone, or other means.
* Please note that inquiries over the phone may be recorded for the purpose of achieving the following objectives. The obtained audio information shall be handled appropriately within the scope of the intended purpose.

(5) Shareholder Information

This refers to the information of the Company’s shareholders.

- Exercise of rights and fulfillment of obligations based on relevant laws such as the Companies Act

(7) Executive and employee information

This refers to the personal information of the Company’s executives, employees, and others.
■ Purpose of use
- Human resources and labor management, accounting, general affairs, and other administrative tasks
- Providing information and sending materials to employees' family members
(8) Former employee information

This refers to the personal information of former employees of the Company.
■ Purpose of use
- Sending post-retirement communication regarding human resources and labor management (such as corporate pensions and social insurance)
- Record management of employment, salary, health information, etc., from the period of employment

Video footage from security cameras installed at the facilities of the Company shall be covered.

4. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
The Company shall not disclose the personal information entrusted to us to any third party without the individual’s consent. Personal information will be provided to a third party only with the individual’s prior consent, except as required by law or legal order.
5. Regarding the Outsourcing of Personal Information
The handling of personal information entrusted to the Company may be outsourced to a third party in order to achieve the “purpose of use” described in “2. Purpose of the Use of Personal Information” above. When outsourcing the handling of personal information, a party with sufficient personal data protection standards shall be selected, and guidance and management will be implemented to ensure proper handling.
6. Disclosure of Personal Information or Records of Third-Party Provision
The Company shall respond appropriately, within a reasonable scope, to requests for disclosure of personal information or records of third-party provision (such as notification of purpose of use, disclosure, correction, addition or deletion of content, suspension of use, deletion, and suspension of provision to third parties) through the designated contact point. In such cases, the individual’s identity and the details of the request shall be verified using the required documents specified by the Company. Requests for disclosure, etc., from the individual or their representative, shall be accepted with the submission of the “Personal Information Disclosure Request Form” sent by the Company to the person who contacted the inquiry desk via email or other means to the designated contact point.

Please convert and send one of the following documents (belonging to the individual) as a PDF file or other appropriate format. The personal information provided shall only be used for identity verification purposes.

g) Safety management measures
To ensure the proper handling of personal information, the Company has established a personal information protection policy and internal regulations based on that policy. A system is in place to regularly verify and evaluate compliance with JIS Q 15001, applicable laws, government guidelines, and other relevant standards.
In handling personal information, a combination of organizational security measures, human security measures, physical security measures, technical security measures, and an understanding of the external environment is implemented to prevent the leakage, loss, or damage of personal information.
7. Restrictions in cases where personal information cannot be provided
Providing personal information is optional and at the discretion of the individual. However, if consent to provide personal information is not given, all or part of the Company's services may not be available.
8. The acquisition of personal information through methods that cannot be recognized by the individual
The Company may use cookies to provide customized services for each viewer, making it easier for them to use the services. These cookies are set when a viewer accesses a customized page or logs in, and may be used to measure the number of visitors to the website.
Additionally, the Company shall not acquire personal information through methods that cannot be recognized by the individual, other than those mentioned above. When personal information is acquired through methods that the individual cannot recognize, the individual shall be notified and their consent will be obtained.

The Company may revise the content of the “Information on the Handling of Personal Information” to strengthen the protection of personal information and in response to changes in applicable laws, government guidelines, or other standards. The revised “Information on the Handling of Personal Information” shall become effective once it is notified through the Company's designated method or published on the Company's website.
