Strengthening Partnerships
Guided by the principle outlined in the Group Code of Ethics, “The KRS Spirit”, which states, “We listen to our customers’ voices and exceed their expectations”, we will work with a sense of responsibility to provide quality, technology, and services that surpass customer expectations, thereby further deepening and strengthening our partnerships. In addition, we will continue to provide greater added value by humbly accepting the ideas and opinions of all our customers and pursuing results that exceed their expectations.
Communication with Stakeholders

Social contribution
Through Shougaisha Jiritsu Suishin Kikou Association, we have commissioned original artwork (Paralym Art) created by disabled artists. Additionally, through organizations that support the self-reliance of people with disabilities, we provide opportunities for our employees to purchase products (such as bread and sweets) made at disability support facilities. These initiatives are part of our efforts to support the self-reliance of people with disabilities.
For Paralym Art, we hold an annual internal contest inviting employees to submit a single kanji character representing their goal for the coming year. The winning character and its associated meaning are used as the theme for the artwork.
The artwork is displayed in the reception area of our headquarters, and we have received positive feedback from visiting customers.

ESG Promotion in Collaboration with Customers and Partners

Collaboration with Lion Corporation and Kewpie Corporation
Before the company’s establishment in 1966, we operated as the warehouse division of Kewpie Corporation (Headquarters: Shibuya, Tokyo), engaging in the joint delivery of Kewpie products and those other companies in the same industry. Even today, we continue to excel in efficient and low-CO₂ cold-chain common logistics services.
In 2018, leveraging common logistics technology, we began a joint trunk transportation partnership with KANKOKISEN Co.,Ltd. (Headquarters: Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi, hereinafter “Kanko Kisen”) to transport the products of three companies from different industries—Kewpie Corporation, Lion Corporation (Headquarters: Taito, Tokyo, hereinafter “Lion”), and Japan Pallet Rental Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda, Tokyo, hereinafter “JPR”)—to address societal issues related to logistics, such as the shortage of drivers, rising logistics costs, and CO₂ reduction.
By implementing a modal shift of truck-based land transportation between individual company locations to ships and transitioning to trailer land transport, we achieved a vehicle utilization rate of over 99%, reducing CO₂ emissions by more than 62% compared to individual company operations.
This initiative has been awarded the special prize at the 20th “Logistics Environment Awards” hosted by the Japan Federation of Freight Industries (JFLA).
The award was received by four companies: Kewpie, Lion, JPR, and Kanko Kisen.
We will continue to explore and promote new initiatives aimed at building a sustainable logistics network across industries.
